The Nepali class has started

Children are reading and writing, not only speaking.

The language class is running, open to children aged 5 and above at whatever level they arrive with.

Teaching reading and writing alongside speaking is the deliberate part. A child who only hears Nepali at home will understand it and answer in English. A child who can read and write it has something they keep.

The first sessions were about finding everyone’s level. The older students helping the younger ones has turned out to be the best part.
