There are no salaries here. What money buys is specific: a room to teach in, books to read from, instruments, and equipment for the kids who turn up to play.

Before you give, one thing you should know
Our application for 501(c)(3) recognition is still in progress. Until the IRS determination letter arrives, gifts to us are not tax-deductible. We would rather tell you that now than let you find out at tax time.
Where it goes
We are not going to print a table of what each amount buys until we can substantiate every line of it. Inventing those figures is the most common dishonest thing on a nonprofit website, and we adopted our Bylaws in January 2026.
What we can say plainly: no one draws a salary, our directors serve without compensation, and the largest costs are space to teach in and the books, instruments and equipment the classes need.
Other ways to help
Membership is ten dollars a year and comes with a vote on how the Foundation is run. If you can read and write Nepali, or you have a room we could teach in, that is worth more to us right now than a cheque.
